Org Pixel
- What it is. The Org Pixel is a script that you, the customer, may place on websites you control. It reports visits and conversions to us so we can show which of your MeTheAnswer links led to them. You get one Org Pixel per organisation. It is included in every plan.
- Where you may use it. Only on websites you own or control and that you have added to your Org Pixel's list of allowed domains. We ignore reports from any other website. You may not add a domain you do not control, or a domain that is shared by many unrelated sites (for example a hosting or site-builder domain). Our product refuses such shared domains.
- Your obligations. Using the Org Pixel also requires you to accept the Org Pixel client terms, including telling your visitors about it in your privacy notice.
- What the results mean. "Confirmed" means the same browser was recognised on our link page and on your website. "Probable" is an estimate based on matching device and network characteristics and may be wrong. Conversion values are reported by your own web page; we do not verify them. Some visits cannot be matched at all, for example when a visitor's network address changes between our page and your website, when an AI app opens your link in its own browser, or when the visitor is counted anonymously for privacy reasons.
- Held for review. We hold matches that look unusual (for example many visits from one network, visits from cloud or VPN networks, or an order value above your largest normal order value) for you to release or remove. Held items are not added to your results until you release them.
- No guarantee. We provide the Org Pixel and its results "as is". We do not promise that any particular visit or conversion will be recorded, matched or labelled correctly, or that the service will be uninterrupted.
- Suspension. We may disable an Org Pixel, or stop accepting reports from a domain, if we reasonably believe it is being used in breach of these terms or the client terms, or to protect our service or visitors.
- Changes to measurement. We may change how matching works (for example the time window or the signals used) to keep results accurate or to protect privacy.
